New Hampshire firefighters battled this 3 alarm fire plus a special call an extra tower on March 8, 2004.

New Hampshire firefighters battled this 3 alarm fire plus a special call an extra tower on March 8, 2004.

The building was a local school that was on the ballot for the following day to be destroyed and a new police station built in its place.

Firefighters from the towns of Milford, Amherst, Mont Vernon, Wilton, Hollis, Brookline and Merrimack responded on the blaze.

Four firefighters were hurt and one transported for injuries resulting from the roof collapsing.
