Philadelphia Firefighters Battle Smoky Ferry Boat Fire
Shortly after 4pm, on April 23, 2006, Box 913 was struck for a barge fire on the 1300 block of Delaware Avenue, in Philadelphia.
Battalion 4 reported he had a vacant ferryboat on fire, and would be using 2 & 2 with Rescue 1 and Marine Unit 1 Fire Boat, and The Philadelphia Second Alarmer rehab unit.
This was a former ferryboat that was turned into a luxury houseboat, then used as a floating nightclub, which is now a partially sunken vessel.
