Crews were dispatched to a vehicle fire, endangering a barn.

Crews were dispatched to a vehicle fire, endangering a barn.

Myself and the chief responded from his residence, approximately 2 miles away. The barn had heavy smoke showing.

We arrived to find a working barn fire, which quickly spread to exposure on side C. There were multiple explosions from propane tanks on the property, and due to wind, had a working multi-acre brush fire from blowing embers at an adjacent property.

The incident involved units from 3 counties, all volunteer.
