On the afternoon of April 20, 2006, Wicomico County Station 15 (Allen), Station 3 (Fruitland), and Somerset County Station 5 (Princess Anne) were alerted to a house fire not far from the quarters of Station 15.

First due Engine/Tanker 1503 and Medic A-15 arrived quickly at a 1-1/2 story house with heavy fire in the rear and the occupant already out. A quick knock was put on the fire, but due to daytime volunteer availability, a special alarm was made for manpower.

Salisbury Station 16 responded with Engine 16 providing the manpower. An additional alarm was made bringing Salisbury's Air Light 2 from Station 2, for support duties.

Allen Volunteer Captain Fred Moore was the incident commander.

The Maryland State Fire Marshall is investigating.
