Structure Fire in Falls Church, Virginia

At approximately 9pm, in Falls Church, Virginia, a structure fire was reported at Haycock Road and Leesburg Pike.

At approximately 9pm, in Falls Church, Virginia, a structure fire was reported at Haycock Road and Leesburg Pike.

Dispatch advised incoming units that several people were reporting fire from the eaves of the Chicken Out resturant.

Engine 413 the first arriving engine confirmed this reporting fire in the sub-cealing of the resturant. Due to the lack of access for the roof and interior spaces command requested a 2nd alarm.

Units from Arlington County Fire-Rescue including 2 ladder trucks were dispatched to the sceene.

After intense overhaul of the roof structure the fire was declared under control around 12 midnight.

The cause is still unkown at this time.
