On Saturday night March 11, 2006 Weymouth Fire Dept, responded to a 3 alarm structure fire at 90 Commercial Street. Fire was in a large "L" shaped 2.5 story wood frame occupied apartment house. Companies found fire on the 2nd floor, walls and attic area upon arrival. Searches were completed and companies were evacuated due to the conditions and exterior operation went underway.

Deck guns and ladder pipes were put in to use with a couple of hand lines protecting the exposure to the left (which was the same type of building). All the occupants that were home at the time escaped with out harm. Mutual aid engines and ladders from Abington, Braintree, Hingham and Quincy assisted on the scene. Companies remained on scene for several hours fighting hot spots. There was no reported injuries.
