Semi Collides With Train Hauling Trucks in Oklahoma

The Guymon, Oklahoma Fire Department responded with three fire engines, one rescue truck, two ambulances, and 35 personnel to a train vs. semi accident.

The Guymon, Oklahoma Fire Department responded with three fire engines, one rescue truck, two ambulances, and 35 personnel to a train vs. semi accident.

On arrival, crews found the accident involved a train derailment including three engines and 13 transport cars.

Fire Department personnel transported two people involved in the accident. Their injuries were minor and they were treated and released.

Crews were on scene for over 14 hours extinguishing the fire and aiding in clean up.

Union Pacific personnel on scene estimated damages to exceed 50 million dollars.
