WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. - On March 5th, all three Washington Township (Morris County) fire companies responded to a Sunday-morning explosion and fire that ripped through a barn, destroying a box truck that was parked next to it, at the AMA Ranch in the township's Long Valley section.

When companies arrived there was not much left of the barn except for some pockets of fire, and the burning box truck along with a brush fire that had to be extinguished.

Companies remained on the scene with the New Jersey State Forest Fire Service, mopping up.

There were no reported injuries and the fire is still under investigation.
