On Thursday, February 5, 2004, at 09:41 hours, Duke University Police Department received a call about a car on fire in the employee parking area of Elba St. Dispatch immediately alerted the Duke University Fire Safety Division and Durham Fire Department.
Upon arrival, Duke Fire Safety found a Maroon Nissan Pathfinder XE-V6 with heavy fire coming from the engine compartment. Duke University Public Safety established command and advised Durham Fire
