Dwelling Fire in Anne Arundel County, Maryland

At approximately 1:15 am, on Sunday, February 26, 2006, firefighters from Anne Arundel County, Maryland were dispatched to a reported dwelling fire on Ridge Road near Bear Paw Lane.

Communications reported receiving multiple calls, and that the dwelling was believed to be vacant.

Upon arrival, crews found a one story dwelling heavily involved. A water supply was established from a nearby hydrant and an exterior attach was initiated with handlines.

Ultimately, Tower 28 from the Odenton VFD was relocated adjacent to the house and ladder pipe operations were commenced to knock down the stubborn fire.
