The arriving on scene reported a two story working fire in a residential/commercial occupancy. E-18(Clifford) marked on scene and split crews one advancing a 2 1/2" attack line to side A and the other half laddering the building and attempting a primary search of division two due to numerous reports of people trapped. Crews were forced from division two due to a flash over on division one and rapidly deteriorating conditions on division two.

E-24 (Greenfield) marked on scene and deployed a 2 1/2" attack line to side A, structure one and attempted to stopped the advancement in exposure one which was approximately two feet from structure one.

L-58(Crystal) was placed in front of structure one and a defensive operation was ordered due to the conditions. Water was supplied via a tanker shuttle and a 5" LDH lay of approximately 3000'. Chief 24 had command aboard R-18 serving as the command post.

After a valiant attempt and excellent job by the multiple departments on scene, the area lost a wonderful person, the owner of the occupancy.
