New Orleans Fire Goes to Three Alarms

The fire occurred on 1/28/2004 about 11:30AM in the 500 Block South Pierce, and went to 3 Alarms.

The fire occurred on 1/28/2004 about 11:30AM in the 500 Block South Pierce, and went to 3 Alarms.

The first units responding reported smoke prior to arrival. Upon arrival, they found a two story wood frame well-involved with exposures. The roof and upper level walls collapsed as the New Orleans Fire Department fought the fire defensively.

On the C side of the fire, a firefighter suffered apparently minor injuries, and was transported.
