New Jersey Firefighters Battle Gas Station Fire

Members of the Township of Union New Jersey Fire Department, along with several mutual aid companies, mount an aggressive exterior attack with master streams and several "Blitzfire" personal master stream devises on a fully involved gas station in the Five Points section of town.

Union Firefighters encountered heavy fire condition upon arrival after a series of loud explosions where reported via 911 at a Getty Service Station on Tucker Ave. at around 2356 hours on the 25th of January. Freezing double digit temperatures hampered fire fighting efforts. No injuries where reported. An investigation of the incident is ongoing.
