Firefighters responded to a working dwelling fire in South Whitehall Township on Thursday January 15, 2004 at 0343 hours

Lehigh County, PA -- Firefighters responded to a working dwelling fire in South Whitehall Township on Thursday January 15, 2004 at 0343 hours.

Tri-Clover , Greenawalds Fire Departments, as well as Cetronia Tower 331, Woodlawn Cascade 3292, and by Cetronia Ambulance Corps found heavy smoke and fire around the roof line of the home on arrival.

A second alarm was sounded for a full response from Greenawalds Fire Department and brought additional equipment from the Woodlawn Fire Department.

Temperatures in the 8-10 degree Fahrenheit range with wind and light snow challenged firefighters on the scene.
