First arriving unit, Truck 6, corrected the address and confirmed a working fire.
Engine 8-1 arrived shortly after, and dropped 1300 feet of LDH down the driveway.
Once at the scene the crew of E8-1 placed 2-3" blitz lines into service to combat the heavy fire which had control of the entire dwelling. While a tanker shuttle was being set up crews experenced a loss of water and at that time the structure collapsed.
Crews from Curwensville, Clearfield, Lawrence Township, Houtzdale, and Grampian work at the scene for several hours while crews from Madera and Dubois City filled the vacant firehouses.
