Structure Fire in Geneva, New York

Monday, January 9th, at 7:15 pm, city companies responded to a report of a fire in the area of Pine Street, in the City of Geneva.

Monday, January 9th, at 7:15 pm, city companies responded to a report of a fire in the area of Pine Street, in the City of Geneva. Back- up calls reported a structure fire on William Street, near Pine.

Chief Moore (Car 11-0) arrived on location reporting a working fire in a 2.5 wood frame. Companies found heavy fire on the first floor.

The fire was quickly knocked down and placed under control.

Units in operation Engine 1113, Engine 1111, Rescue 1171, Quint 1181.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the City Fire Chief's office.
