Structure Fire in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey

On January 5, at 3:25 pm, the Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire on the west side of town.

En route Deputy Chief 711 requested a complete first alarm assignment after Police had reported heavy fire showing.

Engine 72 was first due and upon arrival deployed two 2" lines to fight the fire as Ladder 75 opened the roof.

The fire was quickly controlled with tank water and extinguished within 15 minutes.

No one was home at the time of the blaze and cause of fire has yet to be determined, fire operations switch to investigation after about one hour.
