New York Firefighters Extricate One

The Long Beach fire department responded to Long Beach Blvd & Pine Street for a report of an overturned Jeep with people still inside the auto.

Friday Dec 19th - The Long Beach fire department responded to Long Beach Blvd & Pine Street for a report of an overturned Jeep with people still inside the auto.

It was reported by an Ex-Chief that a person inside the auto was not moving and the Hurst tool would be needed to free the trapped victim. Engine-2343, Ambulance-2319, and Heavy Rescue-232 all worked together to free the victim from the auto.

A landing site was set up on the roadway and the victim was air-lifted to a hospital in serious condition. All extraction operations were under the command of 1st Asst Chief of Long Beach, Ralph Tuccillo.
