Two firefighters were injured Monday after they fell from a porch overhang while fighting a fire at a home on Greenwood Road.
One of the injured was a career firefighter, while the other was a volunteer from the Greenwood Fire and Rescue Company. They were transported to the Winchester Medical Center.
The injuries from the 10-foot fall appeared to be minor, said Frederick County Fire and Rescue Chief Gary A. DuBrueler.
