Residential Structure Fire in Houston, Texas

On December 30, 2005, at approximately 3:45 am, Engine 18 and Tower 18 of Houston Fire Department were the first to arrive at a 2 1/2 story residential structure with heavy fire showing from the rear.

On December 30, 2005, at approximately 3:45 am, Engine 18 and Tower 18 of Houston Fire Department were the first to arrive at a 2 1/2 story residential structure with heavy fire showing from the rear.

Engine 18 made an interior attack as the tower crew made their way to roof for ventilation.

All residents were outside of the home at the time of the fire crews arrival. The home had multiple add-ons making for a difficult extinguishment.

Eventually 7 engines and 2 ladder trucks responded to the scene, commanded by District Chief 20. The cause is undetermined at this time.
