Working Structure Fire in Fort Wayne, Indiana

On Tuesday, December 13th, at approximately 5:45 pm, a fully involved garage fire was dispatched for Northeast Fire District and Huntertown Fire Department.

Fortunately, nobody was hurt and all occupants were able to leave after attempting to put the fire out.

The garage took the brunt of the damage, also extending into the kitchen of the house.

Heavy smoke damage was throughout.

An aggressive attack prevented extensive fire damage from destroying the entire house.

The fire was brought under control 30 minutes after being dispatched.

The cause of the fire appears to be accidental.

Other stations that made the scene included St. Joe Township Fire Department and Washington Township Fire Department.
