The call came in at 1am in the morning to the West Webster Fire District for a garage on fire at 468 Lakeview Terrace in Webster, New York.
Command called on location with a fully involved, one-story garage fire with two exposure problems.
The air temperature was around 10 degrees and still dropping.
Three fire companies reported to the scene (West Webster, Webster, Penfield) with numbering fire departments moving for fill-ins.
The garage roof collapsed, causing a difficult pocket of fire that proved to be time consuming to reach.
After three hours, the fire was extinguished enough to bring in a large excavator to level the structure.
No injuries were reported.
