On December 1, 2003 at 2339, Rescue Squad 2 from the Horry County Rescue Squad was alerted with Horry County Fire units for a structure fire on Henry C Ln. in the Juniper Bay Community.
An off duty county firefighter arrived within minutes and confirmed a working fire in a 4000 sq foot single family dwelling 50% involved. Horry County E161 and Rescue 2 arrived simultaneously to find the structure 100% involved with heavy fire showing. 2 ? and 1 ? lines were stretched out and a defensive operation was started concentrating on the five car garage area. While water supply was being established via tanker operation more county units along with Conway FD where arriving on scene.
