On Monday, November 17, 2003, at 1356 hours, New Castle County Fireboard began receiving multiple phone calls for a building fire a 2 Ridgeway Square in Valley Run Townhouses.
Chief Eric J. Haley of Claymont Fire Company and the first arriving engine (Engine 132) arrived at 1402 hours and reported heavy fire from the second floor of the 3-story garden style apartment building.
