Firefighters Respond to Three-Alarm Fire in Paterson, New Jersey

Paterson New Jersey Firefighters were put to the test early Monday morning on November 3rd 2003. Just after 6 AM, they were called to #334-336 Market Street for a report of a fire.

Paterson New Jersey Firefighters were put to the test early Monday morning on November 3rd 2003. Just after 6 AM, they were called to #334-336 Market Street for a report of a fire.

They had heavy smoke showing from a 3-story woodframe 12-family building.

After an aggressive interior attack, companies were forced to evacuate the building and operate from the exterior as the structure became fully involved on the top floor.

It took firefighters over 2 hours to bring the fire under control with one civilian injury reported.
