On Friday, October 17, 2003, the Long Beach fire department responded to the corners of Long Beach Road and Park Avenue for a report of a serious MVA with a person trapped.
Upon arrival, the chief confirmed the job and ordered his heavy rescue into action.
The boys from heavy rescue-232 placed the tool in service and flapped the roof back. The window crank was impaled in the females leg making the door removal complicated. The handle was removed from the door and left in the victims leg.
All units were up after 1 hour.
