BRIDGEPORT, CT - Shortly before midnight, on November 1st, a fire was reported in a 3-story wood frame house on the corner of Park and Austin in the city's South End.

Bridgeport's Engine-3 was first on scene reporting the 3-story wood frame had heavy fire showing from first floor and extending upward to the second quickly.

Engine-3 also reported shortly after that they had several victims hanging out of windows in the rear of the structure, as well as several on the rear roof.

A rescue attempt, as well as an aggressive interior attack was started immediately. Minutes later, all occupants, mostly University of Bridgeport students, were out of the structure and accounted for.
