Marietta, Georgia House Fire

At approximately 5pm, Cobb County 911 center starting receiving several calls of a fully involved house fire in the 400 block of Haley Street SE.

At approximately 5pm, Cobb County 911 center starting receiving several calls of a fully involved house fire in the 400 block of Haley Street SE.

Cobb 911 alerted Marietta Fire Department bringing 4 engine's, a truck company, squad, and Assistany Chief to the call.

Upon arrival of the first due engine, the captain reported a single family dwelling fully involved. The first in engine pulled a 1 3/4" lines along with deploying 3" supply to the additional engine's.

Firefighter's used a offensive method of attack due to the house being fully involved in fire and vacant.

The rescue company set up a R.I.T. team in front of the structure while engine set up deck operations to assist in extinguishing the fire. Several minutes into the fire side D of the house began to collapse.

Metro EMS was on scene standing by.

Fire Investigator's were called into the scene.

On-looker's were advised that they believe the fire was set intentionally.

Marietta Police Department was also on scene.
