Thursday, September 3, 2003, at 3:15 PM the Keene Fire Department was dispatched to an RV fire on Melissa Lane in Johnson County, TX.
Upon arrival, they found a fully involved RV and cargo van which was parked beside the RV.
Mutual aid for water was provided by the Cleburne FD prior to the Keene tanker arriving on the scene.
During mop-up operations, a fatality was discovered by the Fire Department. The fire is under investigation by the Johnson County Sheriff's office.
