Round Lake, Illinois Fire Department Battled Well Involved House Fire

Round Lake Fire Department ( Illinois ) responded to a report of a structure fire on the west side of there fire protection district.

First unit's on scene found heavy smoke and fire from a single family dewlling with no exposures. Command asked for a tanker from newport fire department who was drilling in round lake with several other departments.

The area of Round Lake has no water so they have to do tanker operations.

Command upgraded the incident, so that brought in Fox Lake, Lake Villa, and Grayslake, with Tankers, and a Fox Lake truck from the drill site.

Firefighters fought this fire for about 20 minutes, and then had to do a lot of overhaul.

Nicor and com-ed were called.

There were no injuries.
