This was a tanker truck fire which happened on Bruckner Boulevard in the Bronx, New York City at 2pm.

The tanker lost control and overturned, and several explosions were heard.

The fire scorched several buildings and cars in a 2 block radius.

The fire was brought under control by FDNY.

There was 1 fatality and no other injuries.

The accident left Bruckner Boulevard, Bruckner Expressway, Amtrak, and Subway lines shut down.
