LaPorte County and LaPorte City Police Departments along with Scipio, Center, and Kingsbury Volunteer Fire departments and Laporte EMS were called out to this house fire on CR 200S in LaPorte, Indiana Sunday, August 31, 2003.
The fire departments battled the two-story farm house starting at 4 PM and lasting about 4 hours before being called back out Labor Day, Monday, September 1, 2003, to battle a rekindle of the house which was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived.
Nobody was reported injured in the fire which destroyed the home.
