Deerfield Fire Department was Dispatched to I-294 at Route 22 for a report of a truck with a large smoke cloud coming from the rear of the it.

Red center dispatch recieved tons of calls about saying that it was liquid nitrogen so they sent a hazmat response since it was on the toll-way.

Squad 19 and Ambulance 19 were first on the scene and reported a large cloud of smoke in the rear, and told companies to stage over 300 feet away.

After investigating, they found out it was liquid oxygen so command held all companies while a service fixed the seal that broke.

Toll-way traffic was backed up for a couple of miles.

State police and Squad 19 bloced the off ramp.
