On September 3rd, The Cicero Illinois Fire Department was toned out for a fire in a warehouse at 34th and Cicero Avenue.

On arrival, companies found heavy smoke conditions. After a short period of time command requested a 1 alarm response for Mabas Division 10.

Seconds before the box alarm was transmitted, The Chicago Fire Department was dispatched for a working warehouse fire at 32nd and Cicero.

On arrival, Battalion 13 determined this was the same fire. Battalion 13 made the determination that a couple of the units would stay on scene to assist in the suppression operations.

The fire was struck out about 4 hours after the first call. Live power lines down in the fire building hampered fire fighters until comed got on scene to shut down power.
