On Wednesday August 6 at 2:11 pm Suisun City Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire with some grass involved. Upon arriving on scene the fire chief reported structures threatened, out building fully involved and a rapidly spreading grass fire. The fire quickly escalated to a 2nd alarm structure and 3rd alarm grass fire with mutual aid from many surrounding city and county agencies. Incident was brought under control in approximately one and a half hours. Units remained on scene performing mop up for about four hours.
The only structure lost was an out building. The fire was contained to the field and the surrounding neighborhoods were untouched. There were no reported injuries. Suisun City units continue fire watch through out the night.
