Castle Rock Fire and Rescue responded to a 2 vehicle MVA at 1940 N. Rocky View Road. It was a head-on accident involving a garbage truck versus a pickup truck.
Four patients were in the pickup, and had to be extricated from the vehicle. One patient was air lifted to nearby hospital with three transported via ground to nearby hospitals.
Castle Rock Fire responded with 2 engines, a medic unit, and a battalion chief, with St. Anthony Flight for Life responding the Air Ambulance. Franktown Fire assisted with a Medic Unit.
