Camden, New Jersey Firefighters Battle Vacant Two-Alarm Blaze

On July 28th, the Camden City Fire Department went out for a reported dwelling fire.

On July 28th, the Camden City Fire Department went out for a reported dwelling fire. Engine 8 arrived on location to find heavy fire on the 2nd floor.

Engine 8 led off with an inch and three quarter line through the front door but quickly went into defensive mode. Bad hydrants were a problem in the area.

One firefighter was injured. The blaze went to 2 alarms.

Units responded to two outside rubbish fires the week before at the same location.
