Ohio Accident Kills Three

A multiple vehicle accident happened on I-70E approximately 2 miles west of I-75. Two cars slammed into the rear of two tractor trailers resulting in three fatalities.

A multiple vehicle accident happened on I-70E approximately 2 miles west of I-75. Two cars slammed into the rear of two tractor trailers resulting in three fatalities, one being a two month old child.

The accident occurred around 1:00pm (EDT), and crews from Butler Township Fire Department, Vandalia Fire Department and Huber Heights Fire Department responded. Careflight removed one victim to Miami Valley Hospital in serious condition. Several members from Huber Heights Fire Department were taken to a Butler Township fire station for CIS debriefing. I-70 remained closed for several hours while the accident was investigated and cleared from the roadway.
