This incident occurred on July 11, 2003 on the on ramp from Hwy 12&18 to westbound I90 in Wisconsin.
The driver escaped serious injury when his tanker overturned carrying 8800 gallons of gasoline. Subsequent explosion and fire drew six departments including airport fire.
The fire was put out by three hand held lines and class b foam. Crews remained on the scene until recovery was completed at 5:30 am on July 12th.
