Morton Grove Fire Fighters responded to a report of a fire in the classic bowling alley at Waukegan and Caldwell.
Niles Battalion 2 reported on scene reporting a large bowling alley with apartments or offices in front with heavy smoke showing and asked for a box alarm.
Niles Truck 2 was sent to the roof to vent and engine 6 from glenview was ordered to take a 2 1/2 to the north side of building and try to gain access.
Crews made a fast knock down of this fire. They worked for sometime to clear smoke due to the size of this building.
Mutual aid from Niles, Northmaine, Glenview, Skokie, Desplaines, Park Ridge, and Chief 600 from Glenview.
