At 5:40 am, on Tuesday, July 26th, The Cedar Grove Fire Department was dispatched to a house with smoke coming from the roof.
Chief Navis immediately called for mutual aid from the Random Lake, Oostburg and Belgium Fire Departments.
The first in crew encountered heavy smoke from the second story door.
The fire was quickly extinguished and crews began overhaul and salvage.
Crews cleared the scene around 11:30 am.
