House Fire in Chesterfield, Virginia

On July 22, 2005 at 6pm, Chesterfield Fire & EMS (Chesterfield, Va.) responded to a house fire at 8409 Beach Road that was occupied by 2 adults that were not at home at the time of the fire.

On July 22, 2005 at 6pm, Chesterfield Fire & EMS (Chesterfield, Va.) responded to a house fire at 8409 Beach Road that was occupied by 2 adults that were not at home at the time of the fire.

On arrival, Engine 15 found heavy fire showing from the front of the house and a report from neighbors that three cats and one dog were inside.

The house was a total lose and the pets died in the fire.

Fire investigators found that a floor fan had caused the fire.

Responding units were Engines 15, 11, 1, and 17, Truck 14, Medics 15, Battalions 1,4 and Tactical Safety Officer.
