Camden City, New Jersey 3 Alarm Fire

Around 10am, on a scorching hot day, a box was transmitted in the City of Camden for a dwelling fire at 159 North 34th Street.

Engine 9, Engine 11, Squad 7, Ladder 3 Rescue 1 and Battalion 2 responded.

Engine 9 arrived to find heavy fire showing.

Battalion 2 arrived,striking the all hands, reporting a single family dwelling 45x45 with heavy fire on the D delta side and heavy smoke throughout with an exposure.

The 2nd alarm was sounded minutes after bringing in Engine 1. Crews worked to control the fire facing high heat temptures outside.

The homeowner was transported to an area hospital when collapsing at the fire scene.

A 3rd alarm was requested for additional man power.

Engine 10 and Ladder 2 were brought in to the scene. Crews brought the fire under control without any injuries.

Cherry Hill Canteen was called to the scene along with Pennsuaken's Cascade 1145.
