On May 26, 2003 just as units from 25 were checking up on the air, communications was receiving report of a serious head on accident in the 8800 Dangerfield Rd.
The upgraded assignment was dispatched bringing Rescue Squad 27 and Medic-25. Engine 251. Units arrived requesting the EMS Task Force, and the Maryland State Trooper Helicopter.
E-251 arrived with people laying on both sides of the road. There were several children in both the vehicles. One of the children was a priority one trauma.
Squad 27 arrived under the direction of Lt. J. Lyon and assisted with removing and packaging of the the victims from the vehicles.
