Buffalo Grove Fire Fighters responded to a report of a car into a house in Station 25 district.
Buffalo grove command requested lincolnshire Riverwoods Squad 51 for shoring and man power.
A man lost control and skidded into the house ripping the front part of the house off.
There were no injuries even though the family was in the room at the time of the crash.
Buffalo grove police are investigating.
