At 8:45 am Thursday May 22, the Burleson Fire Department responded to a storage warehouse building on fire on I-35 South in Burleson, TX. The warehouse contained ammunition, various chemicals and miscellaneous materials. Burleson responded with a ladder truck and one engine.
There were no hydrants in the area. Mutual aid was call on from the following departments:
- Briar Oaks VFD (1 engine)
- Alvarado FD (1 engine)
- Everman VFD (1 engine)
- Keene VFD (1 ladder truck)
- Rendon VFD (1 tanker)
- Crowley VFD (1 tanker)
The damage was contained to approximately one fourth of one building.
