The original report was a glow from the area behind the Dykes Lumber Yard on Route 59 directly across the street from the Tallman Fire House.

Upon Arrival, an all hands was sent out for a working lumber yard fire.

The fire spread was vast in the yard.

Mutual aid from surrounding towns were called for tower ladders including a special call to Upper Saddle River Fire Department in New Jersey to send an engine to the scene. Also a special call was put out for the Salvation Army rehab truck from the Rockland County chapter.
