New York Firefighters Respond to 5 Alarm Tanker Blaze

On April 29, 2003, Rochester firefighters responded to a tanker MVA on W.Ridge Road. Upon arrival they found a gasoline tanker and several house well involved in fire.

On April 29, 2003, Rochester firefighters responded to a tanker MVA on W.Ridge Road. Upon arrival they found a gasoline tanker and several house well involved in fire. Five alarms were struck for manpower.

A crash truck from the airport was called to the scene along with the Kodak fire department for use of foam. Several county companies also assisted at the scene.

Three firefighters were injured and one civilian in a house died.
