House Fire in Charlotte, North Carolina

After 9am Wednesday, firefighters from the Robinson Volunteer Fire Department arrived on scene at a 2-story brick home on Misenheimer Road near Harrisburg Road, after neighbors called 911.

Charlotte, N.C.- After 9am Wednesday, firefighters from the Robinson Volunteer Fire Department arrived on scene at a 2-story brick home on Misenheimer Road near Harrisburg Road, after neighbors called 911.

Heavy smoke conditions were reported, and there were concerns that a person may have been trapped inside.

Additional resources from Mint Hill, Newell, Harrisburg, and Charlotte were called to battle this blaze.

A primary search confirmed that all the occupants were out, and firefighters worked to extinguish the fire, which reached from the first to the second floor area.

The fire was knocked down after crews opened the roof and allowed fire, smoke, and hot gases to escape.

No injuries were reported, and the Mecklenburg County Fire Marshal
