On June 11, 2005, The Merit Fire Department and Celeste Fire Department of Hunt County, Texas conducted live training evolutions in a donated house.
The departments have been using the house for the last 3 month's to conduct Incident management, Rapid Intervention Training, Hose practices, Vent Enter Search and Pump operartions.
The two departments have recently signed an automatic aid agreement and have been conducting joint training on tactics and operational issues.
